The Smart Moves Enterprises Health Expo is an annual event designed to engage and educate parents and families about living a healthy lifestyle, by providing resources and information to help people achieve their health and fitness goals. To this end, the Health Expo will focus on three primary categories:
Diet & Nutrition, Exercise & Fitness, and Health & Medical.
The Smart Moves team believes strongly that in order to live a healthy lifestyle, all of these areas must be addressed in concert, and all will be represented at the 2012 Health Expo.

Healthy Cooking and Eating Seminars
With the leadership of tops chefs, attendees and their families will learn how to make healthy and tasty meals on a family-friendly budget. Dieticians will be invited to field questions from attendees and provide educational presentations about how to maintain and implement sound nutrition in the home.
Medical Health, Fitness proffesionals will be invited to give educational seminars on current and relevant topics such as cardiovascular health and disease management, diabetes management and prevention, and obesity prevention and treatment.

Combine 360 Competition powered by Under Armour
This year's sports combine competition will consist of elementary, middle, and high school students. The sport specific performance areas include: Football, Baseball, Basketball, and Soccer. Visit

Rick Torbett-Better Basketball Clinics
Smart Moves board member Rick Torbett has produced some of the best basketball instructional videos on the market, with guest appearances by NCAA Championship coach Bill Self and NBA All-Stars Jason Kidd, Chauncey Billups and more. He will bring his depth of knowledge as well as some of his well-known friends to make this a most memorable basketball clinic and skills challenge for children of all ages.

Exposition Area and Vendor Booths
Vendors will represent all three areas of concentration for the Health Expo. Current physical fitness performance standards will be explained with tips provided for improvement; health screenings will be provided; and medical, nutrition and fitness-related vendor booths will be presented. In addition, special events such as a parent-children tug of war, media obstacle course challenges, corporate challenges, and other family-oriented activities will be organized. Various prizes will be awarded throughout the day for participation in all parts of the health expo.
